Juanita E. Pagel, age 93 years, of Wonewoc, Wisconsin, died on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at her home.
She was born February 12, 1925 in Elroy, the daughter of Ernest and Faith (Brintnall) Field. Juanita was united in marriage to Edward J. Pagel on December 11, 1945. He preceded her in death in November of 2012.
For many years, Juanita worked for Dr. H.P. Baker and later Dr. Lea Cornell and the staff of Gundersen Clinic. She was a faithful member of the Wonewoc United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, and always welcomed friends and family into her home.
She is survived by five children, Stephen (Valerie) of Mesa, Arizona, Kathleen Jennings of Reedsburg, Janice (Rodney) Seamans of La Valle/Reedsburg, Lois (Joseph) Gerling of Westby/Viroqua and Ellen (Jeffrey) Weiland of Baraboo. She is further survived by eleven Grandchildren, nine Great Grandchildren, one Great Great Grandchild and many relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband, Edward, she was preceded in death by her Parents; siblings, Edwin Field, Ruth Talg, Margaret Hellpap and Roy Field and a son-in-law, Kevin Jennings.
Memorial Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Wonewoc, with Rev. Dr. Wesley Jacob officiating. Inurnment will be in the Pine Eden Cemetery in Wonewoc. Friends may call at the Church on Saturday from 12 noon until the time of services.
