Edmund Joseph Kozlowski, age 85, of Elroy left this world to be with our father in heaven on September 23rd, 2018 in West Salem, Wisconsin.
Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 pm on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Picha Funeral home in Elroy. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 am Friday, September 28, 2018 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Fr. Peter officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in the Township of Plymouth.
Edmund “Eddie” was born in the township of Dellona, Sauk County, WI to Joseph and Sophia (Ryczek) Kozlowski on November 3, 1932. He attended school at St. Adalbert’s of South Milwaukee. He married Beverly on June 23, 1953 at St. Adalbert’s Catholic Church in South Milwaukee. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of the Cleary Miller American Legion Post 115 in Elroy. He served for several years as a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a lifetime member of the Delton Sportsman’s Club. He was a dairy farmer in rural Elroy and drove school bus for Brown Bus Service for 42 years.
He was preceded in death by his Parents; brothers: Frank, Roman, Harry, Dave, Ray, Cornelius, and sisters: Celia Meyers, Agnes Peasall and Alice Bender.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Beverly; Children: Daniel, Lynn (Mark), Connie, Colleen (Ross Allen), Russell, and Renee; Grandchildren: Tara, Andrea (Kevin), Nicholas, Becky, Nathan, Troy, and Travis (Jamie); Great-Grandchildren: Allison, Neil, and Roy. He is further survived by one brother: Walter (Leila) Kozlowski, one sister: Betty Proeber; two sisters in law: Shirley Brandt and Agnes Coffey; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
