Alieth M. R. Degner, age 95 years, of Wonewoc, Wisconsin, passed away on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at the Weber Haus in Wonewoc.
She was born on March 22, 1923 to Carl and Esther (Penshorn) Linhart in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. She graduated from the Wonewoc High School.
Alieth was united in marriage to Armin Degner on February 17, 1944 in Wonewoc. They lived in Wonewoc all their life, where in addition to her work at home, she enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking and raising her chickens. He preceded her in death on March 31, 2002.
Survivors include her children, Corinn Schoen (Jerry Ortmeier) of La Crosse, Christine (Tim) Hellpap of Marshall and Bryon (Sheri) Degner of Wonewoc; grandchildren, Jason (Marianne Ganzon) Schoen, Andrew (Kelly) Schoen, Jennifer Schoen (Charlie) Czeczok, Cynamon (Tom) Reynolds, Courtney (Joshua) Mickelson, Anthony (Beth) Hellpap, Casey Hellpap (Charrod) Miller, Dylan Degner and Nathan Degner; great grandchildren, Sydney, Benson & Jameson Schoen, Aubrey, Evie & Max Czeczok, Enzo Schoen, Trent & Kenadi Reynolds, T J, Olivia & Ty Mickelson and Elieth & Mia Hellpap.
In addition to her husband, Armin; she was preceded in death by her Parents; sister, Lillian Stanek and son-in-law, Louis Schoen.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 9, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Wonewoc, with Pastor Peter Snyder officiating. Burial will be in the St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call at the Church on Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church are appreciated.
