Barbara F. Haugh, age 91 years, of Valley, Wisconsin, passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Heritage Manor in Elroy, Wisconsin.
She was born on May 16, 1926 to Pearl and Mary Isel (Mossholder) De Witt in Clinton Township, Vernon County, Wisconsin, the family later lived in Northern Wisconsin. Barbara was united in marriage to Lewis W. Haugh on April 18, 1942 in Arnold, Wisconsin.
They farmed in the Valley area for many years and she also worked at Ray-O-Vac for 26 years. He preceded her in death on October 20, 2007.
Barbara enjoyed quilting, traveling – more recently in her red car and sometimes stopping at the casino, gardening, canning and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her children, Yvonne (Roger) Nofsinger of Marathon, Lewis E (Pat) Haugh of Reedsburg, Ed (Julie) Haugh of Hillsboro and Karen (Joe) Stanek of Hillsboro; grandchildren, Tim (Debbie) Nofsinger, Michael Malston, Barbara (David) La Vigne, Angela (Ron) Staton, Scott (Kim) Haugh, Dionne (Brian) Bulin, Kristi (Rick) Jensen, Ryan Stanek and Whitney Stanek; great grandchildren, Myles, Eric, Connor, Nichole, Jason, Tiffany, Eli, Shelby Rae, Aleigha, Ashlyne, Alayna, Rhianna, Schae and Cade and four Great Great Grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Lewis; she was preceded in death by her parents, Pearl (1937) and Isel (1960); step father, George Towns; daughter, Jean Malston (2015); grandson, Jesse Stanek (1984); brothers, Dallas De Witt (1960), James De Witt (1989), Wayne De Witt (1965) and La Vern Towns (2012) and sisters, Della Swenson (1991), Jennie Yeager (1997), Pauline De Witt (1921) and Donna Puhl (1972).
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 2, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Picha Funeral Home in Hillsboro, with Rev. Alan Tripp officiating. Burial will be in the Rockton Cemetery. Friends may call at the Picha Funeral Home in Hillsboro on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m.
