Beth A. Good, age 95 years, of Wonewoc, passed away on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Elroy Health Services in Elroy, Wisconsin.
She was born on July 19, 1922 to Harry and Frieda (Dinse) Gabbitas in Juneau County, Wisconsin and graduated from the Wonewoc High School. Beth was united in marriage to Theodore Good on November 26, 1942 and he preceded her in death on September 30, 1979.
They farmed near Wonewoc for many years, in addition to her work on the farm; Beth worked at Ray O Vac, at a Feed Mill, at Piggly Wiggly in Hillsboro and as a Cook at the School in Wonewoc. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and Ladies Aid in Wonewoc, also a member of the Plum Valley Homemakers and volunteered at many blood drives. She loved to sew and was a good seamstress, repairing many items, she also enjoyed stamping and making cards.
Survivors include her son, Bryan (Monica) Good; daughter-in-law, Debbie Good; 3 grandchildren, Todd (Nicole), Teresa (Darrell) Krajco and Tara (Mike) Argall and 5 great grandchildren, Carly, Mackenzie, Caden, Bryce and Gabbi. In addition to her husband, Ted; she was preceded in death by her Parents; step father, John Gabbitas; son, Terry Good and sisters, Arda Rabuck and Ardith Jelinek.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Wonewoc, with Rev. Peter Snyder officiating. Interment will be in the St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery at a later date. Friends may call at the Church on Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Picha Funeral Home in Wonewoc is assisting the family.
