Edward D. Farra, age 74 years, of Tomah, Wisconsin, passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at his residence.
He was born on June 17, 1943 to Howard and Ardella (Bugbee) Farra at Valley, Wisconsin. Edward graduated from the Hillsboro High School in 1961. He then served in the U.S. Army from 1961 to 1964.
Edward became a meat cutter for Kohl’s Food Store and later became a semi-truck drive for Martin’s Milk Service at Wilton, Wisconsin. He enjoyed his friends, playing cards and traveling.
Survivors include his stepson, Keith (Dawn) Farra; grandson, Nicholas; sisters and brother, Mary Lowrey of Hillsboro, Virginia (Ron) Cilley of Hillsboro and Rick (Becky) Farra of Union Center and sisters-in-law, Margarette Farra of Onalaska and Liz Farra of Hopemills, NC.
He was preceded in death by his Parents; son, David on 7/14/2005; infant sister, Gladys; brothers, Howard and Lee Farra and former wife, Bobbi.
Services will be held on Friday, October 13, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Picha
Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Interment
with military rites will be held at the Mount Tabor Cemetery. Friends may call at the Picha Funeral Home in
Hillsboro on Friday from 12 to 1 p.m.
