Diana Lynn Gray, age 63 years, of Wonewoc, Wisconsin, was born the 3rd child to Paul F. and Ruth E. (Tunks) Schultz on September 16, 1955 and departed this world on Monday, February 4, 2019.
She loved gardening, cooking and animal…..basically everything she touched. She was born with an enormous heart and loved feeding the birds, squirrels, deer and any animal that entered her yard. If she loved you…..you were the luckiest person alive.
Diana enjoyed football (the Green Bay Packers) and watching her favorite team, the New York Yankees, play baseball. She avidly followed politics on TV. She enjoyed collecting elephant and duck figurines. The things given to her were very precious to her and she was proud of her collection.
Diana is survived by her beloved husband of almost 38 years, Lonnie Gray; her daughter, Chastity (Reiny Jr.) Gardner of La Valle; grandchildren, Cody (Kathleen) Gardner, Reiny Gardner III (Caitlyn), Casey Gardner and Taylor Gardner (Mitch); great grandchildren, Lexi, Ian, Brinley, Ella, Grayson and Adilyn; brothers, Charles (Lois) Schultz, Richard (Bekka) Schultz and Edward Schultz (Karen Reckinger); nieces and nephews, Kristen & Jeff Schultz, Andrew, Josh, Michael, Ruthye, Eddie & Christina Schultz, Seth, Jamie, Matthew, Nate & Jon Schultz and Lucas & Raina Gravatt.
She was preceded in death by her Parents and a nephew, Malachi Schultz. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who loved her.
Diana requested a small service of “family only” upon her passing and left this world saying she had been given a “good life” - - ”a wonderful husband and daughter and that’s the most she could have asked for.”
The Picha Funeral Home in Wonewoc is assisting the family with arrangements.
