Edgar A. Laubscher, age 84 years, of Wonewoc, Wisconsin, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at the Weber Haus in Wonewoc.
He was born on September 19, 1935 to Arthur and Wanieta (Hinrichs) Laubscher. He graduated from the Wonewoc High School in 1953. Edgar served in the U.S. Army for two years, 1959 to 1961 stationed in Guam – Okinawa for a year and a half.
Edgar farmed near Wonewoc until 1987 and then worked for other farmers part time for two years. He also worked at Reedsburg Foods for 10 years during canning season.
His hobbies were hunting and fishing. He went to Canada in 1996 caribou hunting and got two bulls. He had also been to Colorado and Wyoming, deer and elk hunting about twelve times over the years.
Survivors include his brothers, Arvin (Patricia) Laubscher of Reedsburg and David (Sharon) Laubscher of Wonewoc and sister, Mary Ann Rasch of Wonewoc.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Wonewoc, with Rev. Peter Snyder officiating. Burial with military rites will be in the St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call at the Church on Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m.
