Kim Hue Brady, age 73 years, of Wonewoc, Wisconsin passed away of natural causes on Thursday, July 30, 2020 in Cu Chi, Vietnam.
She was born on January 1, 1947 to Van Xe and Thi Ba Nguyen in Cu Chi, Vietnam where she grew to adulthood. Kim was united in marriage to John W. Brady on July 21, 1970 in Vietnam. They lived in Hawaii until 1972 when he returned to practice law in Wonewoc and Juneau County, Wisconsin. He preceded her in death on March 9, 2003.
Kim enjoyed gardening, fishing, and cooking and was a member of St. Jerome’s Catholic Church in Wonewoc.
Survivors include her children: Mary H. Brady of Madison; Linn A. (Kenneth) Weissman of Jericho, New York; and Major James H. Brady, USMC (Retired) of Wonewoc; grandchildren Jessica and Matthew Weissman; sister-in-law Pamela (Ethan) Hack of Newcastle upon Tyne, England; nephews Andrew Brady of Austin, Texas; and Joseph Brady of Los Angeles, California.
In addition to her husband, John, she was preceded in death by her parents, her father and mother-in-law, William and Shirley Brady, and brother-in-law, Allen Brady.
A private funeral service with family members will be held at a later date and a celebration of life service also will be scheduled at a future date. Interment will be in the Pine Eden Cemetery in Wonewoc.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that remembrances be made to the Friends of the Wonewoc Public Library.
