Andrew D. Johnson, 81 of Amery, Wisconsin died Saturday March 20, 2021 in Amery Memorial Care.
He was born June 23, 1939, in Sharon Wisconsin, the son of Arthur and Martha Johnson. He was united in marriage to Barbara Fanta, July 12, 1958 in which they later divorced.
He was a member of the Wisconsin and Illinois Carpenter union. Andy loved horses, he was a member of the Richland County Wagon Train, also active in team penning.
Survivors include 2 sons, Greg (Sherry) Johnson of Valley, Wi, Alan (Martina) Johnson of Rio Rico, AZ and a daughter Rhonda (Greg) Silbaugh of Midlothian, TX. Grandchildren Josh Johnson, Jacob Johnson, Jordan Johnson, Sarah Dippen, Dr. Andrea Yoder, Dr. Eli Yoder, Broc Johnson, Claire Johnson, Bob Werner and Chasity Werner, and great grandchildren. Seven Brothers, Chuck (Darlene) Dodgeville, Wi., Sam (Jean) of Livingston, Wi., Marvin (Janice) of Belvidere, IL., Harvey (Linda) Davie, Fl., Stanley of Osseo, Wi., August (Lee) of Brandon, FL. Brother In-law John Wood, Rockton, Ill. Four sisters, Rosie (Carl) Gaulke of Lakeland, Fl., Evie (Scott) Braukhoff of Providence Forge, VA., April (Richard) Schauer of Darien, Wi., Phyllis (Dan) Oldenburg Clinton, Wi., Sister in-law Annette Johnson, Clinton, Wi.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Carl and Sidney, and sister Amber Wood
Memorial services will be at the Picha Funeral Home in Hillsboro on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 10:30 a.m., followed by interment at the Mount Vernon Cemetery in Hillsboro.
