Stephanie Ann Munson, age 26 years, of rural Hillsboro, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully with her family surrounding her on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Mayo Health Systems in Rochester, Minnesota.
She was born on February 4, 1994 to Kevin and Tina (Sorenson) Munson in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Stephanie graduated from Hillsboro High School and from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point with a double major in Business Administration-Management and Business Administration-F.I.R.E. (Finance, Insurance, Real Estate).
Stephanie enjoyed singing and playing music on the piano, her voice would fill a room with joy and happiness. She loved spending game nights with her siblings and fiancé Dustin and loved cuddling with her dog, Lucy. Stephanie and Dustin enjoyed attending country music festivals in the summer and watching their favorite television shows together. She also enjoyed crocheting hats and scarves and sewing blankets for all her friends and family. The Lord knew he needed Stephanie more than we needed her on Earth. Her heart was of gold and she always put others before herself. She was the kind of person that was needed in Heaven. Stephanie worked at Beezers Bar and Grill and at Royal Bank in Hillsboro where she touched so many lives.
Survivors include her parents, Kevin and Tina; fiancé, Dustin Wallace; siblings, Alyssa (Keith) Brown, Jacob Munson, Abigail Munson (fiancé, Jacob Polak), Jonathon Munson, Hannah Munson and Sophia Munson; maternal grandmother, Linda (John) Brickson; paternal grandmother, Donna Munson (Dan Brady); aunts, uncles, other relatives, and many friends.
Due to concerns with public gatherings, friends are invited to the interment with a graveside service on Thursday, June 25, 2020 at 12 noon at the Mount Vernon Cemetery in Hillsboro. After the interment, there will be a light luncheon served at Field Veteran’s Memorial Park with a celebration of life to follow. The family asks to avoid wearing black and instead wear bright, happy colors as this will be a celebration of life.
In lieu of flowers, memorials directed to the family are preferred. The Picha Funeral Home in Hillsboro is assisting with arrangements.
