William E. Solchenberger, age 71 years, of Union Center,
Wisconsin, passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at his home.
He was born on May 1, 1949 to Edward and Dolores “Dee”
(Stull) Solchenberger.
William was married to Bess Clendenin for 25 years and made
their home in Union Center, she preceded him in death on October 16, 2020.
Bill worked as a Semi Truck Driver for many years, starting
with Kickapoo Oil and then for many years with Heding Truck Service. He was also the Union Steward for the drivers
at Hedings. Bill served on the Union
Center Village Board and was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include his daughter, Dawn Solchenberger of
Hillsboro and son, William F. (Jamie) Solchenberger of Kendall; grandchildren,
Domenick Roloff, McKynly Solchenberger and Brynly Solchenberger; sisters, Diana
Hubbard of Reedsburg and Darcy Kaske of Mauston and nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of the Life’s of Bill and Bess will take place
on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at Noon at the Elroy American Legion Hall, 402
Franklin Street, Elroy.
